Executive Assistant | Director of Client Services 

Amanda serves as an integral member of the NorthStar Counseling & Wellness Executive Leadership Team, supporting both the administrative and operational functions of the practice. With a trauma-informed and culturally competent approach, she creates a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for staff, clients, and service users. Amanda empowers the team by fostering psychological safety, promoting collaboration, and ensuring that staff have a voice in decision-making.

She manages high-level administrative tasks, including executive scheduling, correspondence, document and event management, and client services, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care while maintaining boundaries and work-life balance. Amanda also oversees programs, policies, and initiatives that enhance trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices, supporting professional growth and preventing burnout among staff.

Before joining NorthStar, Amanda worked with Move Forward Virtual Assistants, providing specialized administrative support for mental health providers, including client intake, insurance coordination, and EHR management. She brings a wealth of experience in operational efficiency, staff support, and creating an organized, nurturing environment that prioritizes both the emotional and logistical needs of the practice.
